Peak Ochre

A call back to Fort Street Studio’s hallmark painterly, watercolor style, Peak is named after one of the most chic and stylish areas of Hong Kong.

The design is interpreted in a blend of hand-processed, high-altitude wool and cultivated silk, using time-treasured Tibetan hand-knotted techniques. Mixing in cultivated silk adds a glisten and shimmer to the overall effect.

Meticulous dyeing of the yarns produce complexity and depth of color, which enrich the overall aspect of the carpet. The blending of wool and cultivated silk creates a shimmery mix that is a delightful expansion of Fort Street Studio’s repertoire of beautifully hand-crafted rugs.
