Design Inspiration
LAGER started with a coarse yarn that resembles rope which is hand processed from Himalayan wool, nettle and silk. The yarn is then woven in a boxy weave that resembles a thick knit. The finished weave has texture and glimmer and reminded Janis of a Chanel jacket, hence it was named LAGER as an homage to Karl Lagerfeld, who directed the house of Chanel for many years.
