Drift Bone

Snow drift piling into cotton-like tufts inspired the painting of this design by Janis Provisor and Brad Davis. Drift is both dense and sparse, evocative of flakes floating in fog. The design is interpreted in hand processed, high altitude wool, according to time treasured Persian hand-knotting techniques. Meticulous hand-dyeing of the yarns produces complexity and depth of color which enrich the overall aspect of the carpet. Shimmery cultivated silk adds dimension and a dash of luxury.
