Billet Blue

Billet is defined as a lodging for a soldier or student in a private home or other non-military place. To billet is to obtain lodging/stay.  Given how often co-creative director Janis Provisor traveled the globe, often on design making holidays, it is no wonder how the design name was born.  She explains;  “My fantasies stretch to our temporary times at the beach, from Bali to the Caribbean, where we luxuriate in the sand and ultra blue water, as we hunker down to create a new collection.  It has a painterly dreamy quality much like my memories of those times we were billeted by the Sea”.
