Slide Dijon

Arcs slipping and sliding into one another in a rhythmic fashion were literally inspired by the music of Paul Simon that was playing while Janis Provisor painted pointed arcs that did not settle in any one spot but all point towards a center.

The design is interpreted in hand processed, high altitude wool, according to time treasured Persian hand-knotting techniques.  Meticulous hand-dyeing of the yarns produces complexity and depth of color which enrich the overall aspect of the carpet.
