Hexi Light

While Principals Janis Provisor and Brad Davis were traveling in Bali, they were inspired by the Balinise use of strong secondary colors which fade with time, which gave birth to the unusual and interesting coloring of HEXI LIGHT. The geometric motif is multi-sided, varying from module to module.

The design is interpreted in a blend of hand processed, high-altitude wool and cultivated silk, using time treasured hand-knotting techniques. Meticulous dyeing of the yarns produce complexity and depth of color which enrich the overall aspect of the carpet. The tweeding of wool and silk creates a shimmery mix that is a delightful expansion of Fort Street Studio’s repertoire of beautifully hand-crafted carpets.
